I'm sober now, can I be unbI am new to Gentoo (not to Linux) and thus I am having loads of questions and find a lot of new "jargon". This is o.k. so far, but the big problem is that this forum runs on phpBB version 2 that has the well known lack of a feature that allows searching message titles only. A newbie like me gets hit on the head by hundreds of irrelevant posts when I am only allowed to search message bodies or title and message There are several threads about this same topic around, you can read these for a starter:

It's a recurrent topic that comes from time to time. As far as I understand it's a matter of lack of manpower. This forum is not pure phpbb 2, it has a lot of modifications, and everything would need to be re-evaluated and (if necessary) ported to phpbb3 or substituted/refactored from the ground.
